Wilfred Charles Leask, 66, died Nov. 28, 2020, in Metlakatla.
He was born Feb. 10, 1953, in Metlakatla.
Mr. Leask attended Metlakatla High School, and was a lifelong resident of Metlakatla.
He worked as a commercial fisherman, in addition to working on the Trans-Alaska Pipeline and with Southeast Stevedoring. He also mended nets.
Mr. Leask was an active member of the William Duncan Memorial Church.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Ernest Leask Jr.; father, Ernest Leask Sr.; grandparents, Matilda and Wilfred Booth, and Anna and Charles Leask.
Mr. Leask is survived by his mother, Lorena M. Leask; sisters, Bev Guthrie and Pat Leask; brother, Thomas R. Leask; nephews and nieces, Bruce and Deanna Guthrie, Brenna and Winna Buxton, Craig Leask, and August Leask; and great-nieces and great-nephews, Cordell, Yodean, KayAna, Tegan, Nathen, Erica and William.
A memoral service will be scheduled, with a date to be determined.
