Tami Ann Linne Fontaine, 58, died April 8, 2020, in Decorah, Iowa.
She was born Sept. 17, 1961, in Ketchikan.
She graduated from Ketchikan High School, and was married in Ketchikan.
In addition to Ketchikan, she resided in Decorah.
She was a member of the Lutheran Church.
“Tami lived life fully,” her family writes. “Her kids meant the world to her. Tami did her best to make sure they knew.”
She enjoyed gardening on her property in Decorah and operating her river rafting business Tami’s Tubes. She also enjoyed collecting antiques.
“She always had a soft spot for Tinkers, her dog, and all the little critters on her property,” her family writes. “She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.”
Tami Fontaine was preceded in death by her brother, Steven Linne; father, Bert Cederstrom Linne; and mother; Kathlyn Linne.
She is survived by her children, Chance and Lexi Fontaine and their son Aiden, Naheylam Ellis, Shai Shay, Mark Shay Jr., Mary Shay and her daughter Lori Anna; sisters, Terrie Linne Wells, Susan Hoyt, Nikke Linne and Lynda Sanders; and brothers, Kris (Lorial) Linne and John Mielke.
A service will be in September 2020, at a time to be announced.
Her remains will be cremated, and her ashes interred at Bayview Cemetery, and scattered at her favorite places and at the Chickamin River.
