Sibyl Adrianne Collins, 67, died on Feb. 4, 2020, at her home in Ketchikan.
She was born Sibyl Fosse on Nov. 2, 1952, in Ketchikan.
She attended Schoenbar Middle School, and graduated from Ketchikan High School in 1971.
She was married on June 22, 1991, in Ketchikan.
Mrs. Collins was a lifelong Ketchikan resident.
She worked as a bookkeeper.
Mrs. Collins was an artist and a painter, and she enjoyed needlepoint, crochet and knitting.
Her family writes that she won first and second place in the most recent Alaska State Fair with a child's Nordie sweater and cap.
She bred basset hounds, and also collected basset hound keepsakes.
Mrs. Collins was preceded in death by her parents, Chris and Earl Fosse; brother, Cliff Fosse; sister, Janet Kapadia; and maternal and paternal grandparents.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis Collins; son, Christopher Collins; daughter, Jennifer (Carl) Collins Young; son, Aaron (Joanna) McElroy; sister, Gretchen A. (Fred) Rothfuss; sister-in-law, Mary Shanahan; many nieces and nephews; and step-sister, Christy (Richard) Elliott.
A family service was held.
