Shirley was well known for her strong will, quirky sense of humor, and giving you her honest (often unsolicited) opinion. Shirley was a lion with a heart of gold.
Shirley taught us to laugh through the hard times and love unconditionally. Her hobbies were going to church, talking about the Good News, talking about her grandkids, showing off pictures of her grandkids, and bragging about her grandkids. She was very proud of her family.
All those who knew Shirley knew how much she liked a get together full of laughter and stories. Due to the current gathering limitations, a celebration of life will follow post-pandemic, in honor of the wonderful times Shirley brought into our lives. She is pleased to have finally been called home to the Lord. Shirley skipped on up to Him with her dancing shoes in hand.
Shirley would like everyone to celebrate her in their own way. In lieu of flowers she would want you to perform a random act of kindness in her honor.
