Richard “Rich” Russell Brown, 65, died May 3, 2021, in Seattle.
He was born on June 29, 1955, in Denver, Colorado.
In addition to residing in Denver and Alameda, California, Mr. Brown resided in Ketchikan for 17 years.
He was married on Oct. 4, 2003, in Reno, Nevada.
Mr. Brown was a civilian employee with the U.S. Coast Guard, for which he worked as a sand blaster. He was retired.
Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his father, Dan Brown; mother, Ann Brown; and sister-in-law, Beth Brown.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Budde; stepson, Shaun Budde of California; brothers, Dan (Danielle) Brown, Dave Brown and Doug (Kathy) Brown; sister, Diane (Mark) Beede, all of Colorado; sister, Donna Taylor of Arizona; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Brenda and Eddie Lanier of California; and numerous nephews and nieces.
Mr. Brown’s remains were cremated, with the ashes to be spread at a location to be determined at a later date.
