Patrick “Dusty” Suckinaw, 59, died June 9, 2019, in Ketchikan.
He was born Feb. 22, 1960, in Petersburg.
He graduated from Ketchikan High School in 1979.
Mr. Suckinaw resided in Alaska for 42 years. He lived in Petersburg from 1960 to 1976, in Haines from 1976 to 1977, and in Ketchikan for the remainder of his life.
He worked as a delivery driver for Jud's Office Supply.
Mr. Suckinaw was married on Jan. 21, 1996, in Ketchikan.
He was a member of The Salvation Army.
“(He enjoyed) garage saling, collecting Raiders memorabilia, as well as Star Wars and Marvel memorabilia, and going for car rides and listening to music,” his family writes. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Mr. Suckinaw is preceded in death by his father, Patrick Suckinaw; uncle, Jackson J. Suckinaw; aunt, Helen King (Chuck); wife, Kimberly Suckinaw; and many uncles.
He is survived by his mother, Ruth Suckinaw; brothers, Mike Suckinaw and Cush (Kirsten) Suckinaw; sister, Honey Lou Suckinaw; sons, Tony Guthrie, J.J. Blair and Josh Blair; daughters, Natalia Sanders and Taya Blair; nephews, Roger Suckinaw, Raymond Blair III and Thomas Blair; niece, Jacqueline Blair (Julleau); great niece, Felicia Hudson; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
A service will be held at a date to be decided.
