Lloyd Harvey Pike, 65, died on May 23, 2020, of natural causes at his home in Bellingham, Washington.
He was born on April 2, 1955, in Bellingham to Eileen (Ryan) and Kenneth Pike.
He graduated from Ketchikan High School in 1973. Mr. Pike worked for 37 years as a freight and logistics associate for trucking sales.
“He thrived on building strong relationships with his colleagues and many turned into life-long friends,” his family writes.
Mr. Pike enjoyed spending time with his loved ones, reading, golfing, and playing and watching baseball. “He especially found joy in catching up with old friends,” his family writes. “He enjoyed telling jokes, pondering life’s big questions, learning new things, caring for his pets, and spoiling his grandkids. He will be remembered most for his sense of humor, loyalty, and sensitive side along with being loving.
Mr. Pike was preceded in death by his mother, Eileen Hamlin; father, Ken Pike; stepfather, Shan Hamlin; and sister, Tina Hamlin VanEngelenburg.
He is survived by his son, Christopher James (Elayne) Pike of Phoenix, Arizona; daughter, Danielle (James) Pike McArdle of Bellingham; brother, Jim (Camille) Hamlin and family of Bothell, Washington; sister, Connie (Bill) Dolby; and grandchildren, Seamus and Eliza McArdle.
A private graveside service will be Monday, June 1, 2020 at Nooksack Cemetery in Nooksack, Washington. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
