Harvey Skan, 70, died Dec. 17, 2021, in Ketchikan.
He was born on Oct. 1, 1951, in Ketchikan.
He attended Ketchikan High School, and had resided in Ketchikan since 1964.
Mr. Skan was employed in the service industry. He was a member of The Salvation Army. He was very active in AA.
He enjoyed basketball, bike riding and great conversations, his family writes.
Mr. Skan was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Regina Skan Sr.; brothers, Rodney and Dennis; and sisters, Sandra and Sylvia.
He is survived by his daughter, Rocelle Price of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; son, Christopher Skan of Fairbanks; daughter, Erin Grassey of Craig; brothers, Dewey, Ray, John, Norman and Patrick; sisters, Mary, Mabel, Cora and Marlene; and many nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A service will be in the spring in Klawock.
Mr. Skan’s remains will be interred in Klawock.
