Christopher Allan Williams, 38, died April 20, 2019, in Hydaburg.
He was born August 28, 1980 in Ketchikan.
He resided in Sitka from 1984 to 1994, and in Metlakatla from 1994 to 1998. He attended Metlakatla High School.
Mr. Williams resided in Ketchikan on and off for many years, in addition to New York and Oregon. In 2013, he moved to Hydaburg.
Mr. Williams worked in social services.
“He was a musician and writer, very creative at both,” his family writes.
He enjoyed playing guitar, playing video games with his nephews, playing cards and dice, and ordering off of Amazon.
Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his mother, Janelle Hamilton; grandmother, Christine Christianson; grandfather, William Hamilton; and uncle, Billy Hamilton.
He is survived by his sisters, Natasha Peele of Hydaburg and Heidi Edenshaw of Maui; nephews, Donovan, Dereck, Skyler, Trever and Elijah; nieces, Alyssa and Janelle; father, Fred Williams of Metlakatla; sisters, Melissa, Sara, Marilyn and Candi; and brother, Devin Williams.
A viewing will be from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, April 26, 2019, at the Ketchikan Mortuary.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Monday, April 29, 2019, at the Presbyterian Church in Hydaburg.
