Charles T. “Tom” Beck, 75, died May 14, 2020, with loved ones surrounding him in Thorne Bay.
He was born to Jessie and Charles Beck in Arlington, Washington.
Mr. Beck enlisted in the Army in 1966 and served as a Long Range Recon Patrol in Vietnam. As a civilian, he was a logger and fuel business owner.
“He spent many happy years with his wife, Yolanda Dell, in Ketchikan,” his family writes.
Mr. Beck was a Mason, Redman, and VFW member.
“Tom was a man of many skills — he loved fishing, hunting, fast planes and faster cars, visiting with friends and family,” his family writes. “He was a remarkable man who will be sorely missed by his family and friends.”
Mr. Beck was preceded in death by parents, Jessie and Charles Beck.
He is survived by his wife, Yolanda; children, Mike Wilson, Rachel Beck, Ray Dell, Joey Dell and Emily Dell; grandchildren, Kingston, Emery and Junie; and siblings, Trudy (Mike) LaDouceur, and Johanna (Rick) Jones.
