KETCHIKAN (KDN) — The Schoenbar Middle School boys’ and girls’ basketball teams are hosting squads from Charles R. Leask Sr. Middle School from Metlakatla this weekend.

The games will be played at Ketchikan High School.

Friday’s action will begin at 4:30 p.m., with the boys’ B squads going head-to-head. The girls’ B teams will begin their game at 5:30 p.m.

The boys’ A teams will start at 6:30 p.m., and the girls’ A squads will finish the night, beginning their game at 7:30 p.m.

Saturday’s matchups will start at 10 a.m., with the girls’ B teams playing each other. The boys’ B teams will start at 11 a.m.

The A squads will begin at 12 p.m., with the girls’ teams playing first. The boys’ A squads will go head-to-head at 1 p.m.

Spectators will be allowed, but only those on a pre-arranged list will be allowed to enter the Clarke Cochrane Gymnasium.

Each participant from both Schoenbar and Metlakatla was given four tickets to pass out to family or friends, allowing Clarke Cochrane Gymnasium to be filled to 50% capacity. Spectators must sit in the upper balcony, and masks must be worn at all times.

No spectators will be allowed on the gym floor, and no kids will be allowed in the hallway.

Spectators can enter through the main doors at Kayhi.

Games will be two 20-minute halves, with a running clock.

There will be a clock stoppage in the last minute of each half.
