KETCHIKAN (KDN) — For the second straight week, Ketchikan Little League is calling off its baseball and softball game schedule. Although this time, practices aren’t allowed either.

As a result of the Ketchikan Emergency Operations Center raising the novel coronavirus community risk level to Level 4 — the highest possible grade — KLL is canceling all games and practices until further notice.

The EOC raised the risk level to Level 4 for the first time on Tuesday, following 15 new COVID-19 cases in Ketchikan.

There were 11 cases over the weekend, as well, as Ketchikan has struggled to contain the spread of COVID-19.
