KETCHIKAN (KDN) — Ann Phipps Graham won the final week of the Ketchikan Daily News football contest, correctly predicting the outcomes of 14 out of a possible 21 NFL and college football games this past weekend. Phipps Graham will receive the weekly prize of a three-month subscription to the Daily News.

Along with the other top finishers of the week, Phipps Graham also will be eligible to compete for the grand prize — two tickets to the Seattle Seahawks’ game against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, Dec. 5 in Seattle.

In addition to the two tickets, the grand prize winner will receive round-trip air transportation between Ketchikan and Seattle via Alaska Airlines, three nights of hotel accommodations at the Seattle Homewood Suites and spending money, courtesy of NAPA Auto Parts.

Rounding out the top 10 for Week 10 were Chris Zamora (14), Jessica Phipps Graham (14), Kathy Lapinksi (14), Alex McKay (14), Jim Tuttle (14), Mike O’Larick (13), Roy McPherson (13), Gilbert Romero (13) and Rachel Bowman (13).

Week 10 concludes the open round for Daily News football contest. The contest covered games from the start of the NFL and college football season, and ran through this past weekend.

But now it’s time to determine a grand prize winner.

That will be decided this weekend, as games for Nov. 20-21 are being mailed to the weekly qualifiers to determine who will receive the grand prize trip to Seattle next month.
