Community Connections is inviting the public to an open house on Friday to get a chance to learn more about the nonprofit and to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of its acquisition of and move into its offices at 721 Stedman St.
Executive Director Bess Clark, Deputy Director Maxwell Mercer and members of the board of directors will guide visitors around the agency's three program areas — senior and disability services, early learning and children's mental health — to learn from staff about the services the nonprofit provides, how those services help the community and how to use those services.
Attendees also will be able to learn about careers at the organization and how to support the organization's mission, whether by donating to its endowment fund, a specific program or by helping with annual events such as its Holiday Sock Drive.
The open house is scheduled from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday at the Community Connections offices.
