Christopher M. “Kit“ Keyes, 68, died Sept. 7, 2019, in Nashville, Tennessee.

Clyde Shizuo Takahashi

Clyde Shizuo Takahashi, 58, died Aug. 30, 2019, in Ketchikan.

He was born on Feb. 14, 1961, in Honolulu, Hawaii. He graduated from AIEA High School in Aiea, Hawaii

Mr. Takahashi served in the U.S. Army.

He resided in Ketchikan for many years, and worked as a cook, and with airlines.

He enjoyed feeding the pigeons.

“He loved his family, and was very kind-hearted,” his family writes. “(He had a) heart of gold and was very giving.”

Mr. Takahashi was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Takahashi.

He is survived by his mother, Jane Takahashi; sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Ronald Wiks; brother and sister-in-law, Taylor and Jackie Takahashi; and nieces, Taylor and Nicole Takahashi.

A service will be scheduled at a later date at the National Memorial Cemetery at Punchbowl Crater in Honolulu, where Mr. Takahashi’s remains will be intered.
