Christopher M. “Kit“ Keyes, 68, died Sept. 7, 2019, in Nashville, Tennessee.
Rebecca Hannah Halpin, 68, died on Sept. 1, 2019, at her home in Ketchikan. She was born on Aug. 3, 1953, in Crawfordsville, Indiana.
Eleanor Margaret Wagner, 86, died Sept. 4, 2019, in Anchorage. She was born on Feb. 18, 1936, in Metlakatla. Mrs.
Greg Riley Johns Jr.

Greg Riley Johns Jr., 63, died July 29, 2019, in Klawock.

He was born Sept. 8, 1955 in Seattle.

He attended Craig schools, and resided in Craig; Edmonds, Washington; Sitka and Klawock.

Mr. Johns was a fisherman, and worked for the Alaska pipeline for one year.

He was a member of the Church of God, and the Craig Presbyterian Church.

Mr. Johns enjoyed sportfishing, gardening, putting up food and storytelling.

“(He) loved people and to entertain,” his family writes.

Mr. Johns was preceded in death by his father, Greg Riley Johns Sr.; and nephew, Brant Islay-Johns.

He is survived by his fiance, Julie Belt of Klawock; mother, Justna Johns of Craig; brothers, Lester (Melissa) Johns of Avon Lake, Ohio, LeRoy (Tanya) Johns of Sisters, Oregon, and Steven (Sandy) Johns of Valdez; sister, Deborah Head of Craig; daughters, Amy (Gavin) Simons of Omaha, Nebraska, Tami (Charlie) Hawks of Port Townsend, Washington, and Jodi Johns of Puyallup, Washington; granddaughter, Lindsay Pint of Omaha; Vanessa Fleury and her children, of Craig; Angelena Ketah of Anchorage; Jeff Ketah of Juneau; and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life was at 11 a.m. Aug. 3, 2019, at the Craig Tribal Association Hall, officiated by LeRoy Demmert.
