Dorcas Eleanor Dunmire, 78, died on Aug. 9, 2019, in Ketchikan. She was born Dorcas Eleanor Wesley on Sept. 15, 1940, in Metlakatla.
Constance McNeill

Constance McNeill, 83, died March 30, 2019 in Klawock.

She was born Constance Williams on Dec. 24, 1935, in Klawock.

She graduated from Klawock High School in 1954, and was married on May 18, 1956, in Craig. She resided in Klawock for 82 years, with a short time of residing in Oakland, California, in 1962.

Mrs. McNeill was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Klawock Heenya Corp., Sealaska Corp., Alaska Native Sisterhood Camp #9, and Central Council Tlingit & Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska.

She enjoyed bingo, shopping and talking with her buddies.

Mrs. McNeill was preceded in death by her husband, Henry McNeill; sons, Raymond McNeill and Jerome McNeill; daughters, Trina McNeill, Roberta Moore, Elizabeth McNeill and Geraldine Dix; brothers, Roy Williams Jr., Roger Williams, Raymond Williams and Paul Davis; and sisters, Francis Colegrove and Elsie Isaacs.

She is survived by her daughter, Henrietta Kato of Klawock; brother, James McNeill of Klawock; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A service will be at noon on Saturday, April 20, 2019, at the Klawock ANB Hall, officiated by clergy of The Salvation Army.

Mrs. McNeill’s remains will be interred at the Klawock Cemetery.
