KETCHIKAN (KDN) — Sailings of the state ferry Malaspina originally scheduled from April 29 through May 6 have been canceled to allow for necessary bow thruster repairs on the vessel.
The Malaspina is anticipated to return to service at 3:30 p.m. May 6 with a southbound departure from Ketchikan to Prince Rupert, British Columbia, according to the Alaska Marine Highway System.
AMHS is notifying passengers affected by the changes, rebooking or refunding travelers as necessary, according to Wednesday’s announcement.
The new sailing schedule is available online at www.FerryAlaska.com, or by contacting the Ketchikan ferry terminal.
