Dorcas Eleanor Dunmire, 78, died on Aug. 9, 2019, in Ketchikan. She was born Dorcas Eleanor Wesley on Sept. 15, 1940, in Metlakatla.
Lenord F. Brady

Lenord F. Brady, 75, died Jan. 14, 2019, in Ketchikan.

He was born Dec. 1, 1944, in Harrison, Michigan.

He graduated from Harrison Community High School in 1958, and from Michigan Tech University in Houghton, Michigan, in 1966.

He was married on June 18, 1966, in Baraga, Michigan.

In addition to Harrison, Mr. Brady resided in Bena, Minnesota; Remer, Minnesota; Blackduck, Minnesota; and Kenton, Michigan. He resided in Craig for six and a half years, and in Thorne Bay for 36 years, beginning in April 1983.

Mr. Brady worked as a forester and fisherman. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening.

Mr. Brady was preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer Wise; sister, Sharon McPherson; and parents, Gerald and Pearl Brady.

He is survived by his wife, Marie Brady of Thorne Bay; daughter, Mary Killion; grandchildren, Wayne, Eli, Will and Aliina Killion of Boardman, Oregon; and brother, Gerald Brady of Harrison.

A service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, 2019, at the Craig Cemetery, officiated by Ron Youderian.
