A fair contract

Ketchikan teachers, despite being among the lowest paid in the state, are certainly some of the best in the state. Ketchikan teachers want the best for Ketchikan’s students. The education our students deserve can only occur if we retain and attract the best teachers.

Ketchikan teachers want a fair contract, one that allows Ketchikan to be competitive in retention of the high quality teachers here already and recruitment of those looking to positively impact student learning in the future.
