Harriett Barbara Brendible

Harriett Barbara Brendible, 93, died Aug. 4, 2017, in Ketchikan.

She was born Harriet Barbara Johnson on April 20, 1924, in Haines. She was married on March 15, 1945, in Metlakatla.

Mrs. Brendible resided in Ketchikan for 63 years. She enjoyed cooking, canning salmon, crocheting, bingo, and “playing a winning game of Scrabble,” her family writes.

Mrs. Brendible was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Brendible Sr.; and brother, Ned Johnson.

She is survived by her son, Leslie (Sally) Brendible Jr.; grandsons, Jeremy Brendible and Jarrid (Tasha) Brendible; great-grandchildren, Leslie Brendible III and MaryAnn Brendible; and many more family members in Wrangell, Sitka, and Haines.
