Marcario Rado, 58, died April 10, 2017, in Ketchikan.
He was born Jan. 29, 1959, in Ketchikan, and graduated from Ketchikan High School.
Mr. Rado resided in Ketchkan, where he was a welder and Native hunter-gatherer.
He enjoyed leather and fur work, and drumming.
Mr. Rado was preceded in death by hi father, Pete Rado; mother, Betty Rado; and brother, Pedro Rado.
He is survived by his son, Sitkah Rado; daughters, Elizabeth Rado and Ciara Rado; brothers, Fernando Rado and Theodore Rado; granddaughter, Aoife Rylie Rado; and many other family members and friends.
A celebration of life will be at 12 p.m. May 12, 2017, at the North Tongass Community Club.
Mr. Rado’s remains will be interred in Ketchikan.
