EDITOR, Daily News:
The proliferation of military hardware in our communities has broached a saturation level. If we are going to continue raising children to inculcate inconsequential violence, allowing profiteers control of our thought patterns by appealing to our basest on/off digital impulse of either to fight (shoot) or flee (hide), our civil order will only be maintained if government outlaws thoughtless, impulsive killing devices. Machine guns and high-capacity ammunition clips are useless to everyone but combat soldiers. Do you want to fear in your residential life as if it were a war zone?
