Robert Steven "Bob" Monrean, 57, died Dec. 3, 2012, in Ketchikan.

Mr.?Monrean was born on Sept. 29, 1955, in Ketchikan to Mernsey R. and Mable M. Monrean.

He attended the school Grant Street School and White Cliff School.

He worked for the City of Ketchikan for 22 years. He lived in Ketchikan his entire life.

Among his favorite pastimes, Mr.?Monrean enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and telling stories.

"He was proud to have three wonderful girls who gave him seven grandchildren that he adored. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him," his family writes.

Mr. Monrean was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his former wife, Cynthia Monrean; daughters, Melissa Monrean, Kristy Bourque and Emily Monrean; grandsons, Gabriel Steven Monrean, Noah Daniel Monrean and Hudson Scott Byron; and granddaughters, Kayla Liberity Bourque, Lily Rain Demiro, Abigail Welthy Lynn Johnson and Maggie Lynn Demiro.

A celebration of life potluck will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, at the North Tongass Community Club. The family encourages people to bring stories and memories of Mr. Monrean.
