Small Alaska communities are the state's backbone. Economically, if they're strong, then so, too, is Alaska.

The fall back position might be the best to take this weekend.

Robert ‘Rod’ Orwin Davidson, 68, died Oct. 21, 2014, in Tacoma, Washington

Vote Moran

EDITOR, Daily News:

I urge support of the candidate who has proven she knows how to get the job done.

During the four years Agnes Moran has served on the Borough Assembly, she was not afraid to dive into issues that could make a difference in our community and tenaciously kept those issues alive until resolution was achieved.

I believe she is the best candidate who can do the best job of studying an issue and speaking out for what is best for Southeast Alaska., not just someone who agrees with others, rather a representative who takes the lead to get the best answer for our communities.
