KETCHIKAN (KDN) — Alaska Power & Telephone will move its business offices into a new building at 136 Misty Marie Lane near the top of Don King Road.

Spear said AP&T operates telephone and power systems in many Alaska communities. In Southeast Alaska, it also operates what he called a “long-haul microwave” network that brings Internet services to communities. It also maintains fiber-optic cable connections between some communities, he said. The Southeast operations are managed out of Ketchikan, he said.
