Glenn McLean, 59, died Jan. 5, 2018, in Whitehall, Montana.

He was born on May 5, 1958, to Lean and Gladys McLean in Butte, Montana.

Mr. McLean was gifted in all areas of construction and spent most of his working life in Alaska, early on at Ketchikan Welding and for many years with Western Marine, according to his family.

“Glenn loved the mountains and everything found in nature,” his family writes. He was a beloved friend to the many people and animals in his life.”

Mr. McLean was preceded in death by his grandparents; parents; brother, Earl McLean; and sisters, Laura D’Arcy and Eileen Jones.   

He is survived by his daughter, Jordan McLean; the families of his brother, Leroy McLean; and sisters, June Robbins, Laura D’Arcy, Carol Gunstrom, Eileen Jones and Gayle McLean.

Mr. McLean's remains were interred with family in Butte, Montana.
