Alaska Escrow and Title wins 2 awards

KETCHIKAN (KDN) —  The Ketchikan-based Alaska Escrow and Title Insurance Agency recently received two awards from the Stewart Title Guaranty Company.

Alaska Escrow and Title Insurance Agency has been in business for 34 years and now has branch offices in Sitka and Juneau.

The independent agency has been writing title insurance for underwriter Stewart Title Guaranty Company for 25 years — a time frame that’s the basis for the Heritage Award that was delivered to the Alaska Escrow and Title Insurance Agency office in Ketchikan by Stewart Agency Services Manager Mark Pillette recently.

Pillette also delivered to Alaska Escrow a Pacesetter Award for 2016.

“The Pacesetter Award is for a very select group of independent agencies that stand out amongst their peers in the title industry, based on their revenue growth combined with a very low claims-loss history,” Pillette told the Daily News.
