FEEDING TIME — A humpback whale bubble feeds on herring in Knudson Cove Marina, trapping schools of fish in rings of bubbles and then swallowing scores of them whole by surfacing. Charter Tour Manager Katrina Monta said the whales appeared Friday and they have been coming and going since, no more than three at a time, sometimes doing laps underneath the docks. She estimated that 200-300 people have come to Knudson Cove since Friday to check out the scene. Monta said Knudson Cove Marina's Facebook page has gained 500 followers since it started posting pictures and video of the whales.
